It’s another in for Davido as his 2017 smash hit song, “Fall” has been certified Gold in the USA.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), for a single to be certified Gold in the USA it has to have sold about 500,000 units. This coming a few days after the singer announced that the track went Gold in Canada. It was also certified Platinum in South Africa.
Davido took to Twitter to make the announcement and revealed that he predicted it a few days ago even when he was mocked. He wrote: “I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO !!! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE ‘USA !!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST !!
